Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidates placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call overtime premiums extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.

Manager Nursing - Progress Care at our Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

The Nurse Manager of a patient care unit or service maintains 24-hour accountability for the clinical leadership of staff. Responsible for overall personnel and fiscal management clinical standards development staff development and the continuous improvement of activities within assigned areas. Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians nurses therapists social workers and others reviews analyzes and recommends changes in practice to work toward achieving Queen of the Valley Medical Centers goal to become a Center of Excellence. Practice is in accordance with Joint Commission standards State and Federal regulatory criteria and professional practice standards. Proficiency is demonstrated in the required competencies. Performs all duties under minimal supervision.

Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing Admin:
- Nursing or related field.
Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
3 years Relevant clinical experience
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelors degree in nursing.
Leadership/supervisory experience.
