POSITION SUMMARY
The CMC Technician Level C supports highperformance selfdirected manufacturing teams producing advanced ceramic matrix composite components. This role executes standardized work across multiple fabrication and machining processes follows rigorous EHS and quality requirements maintains accurate records and actively contributes to continuous improvement to deliver safe highquality parts that meet customer needs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Flexibility to adjust schedules for training as required
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; any offer is contingent upon successful completion of the preemployment process (including background check and drug screening)
- Desired: Prior CMC and/or manufacturing experience; ability to work independently in a team environment; flexibility to rotate between shop operations; computer proficiency; strong mechanical/technical aptitude; thorough documentation skills; inclusive teamwork and communication; positive attitude with ability to incorporate feedback; commitment to safety quality and customer focus
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete required training for each assigned fabrication or machining process; complete all compliance and EHS training
- Actively contribute to a high performance self directed work team; participate in safety and/or quality audits
- Execute production tasks across multiple CMC process areas as trained and qualified which may include:
- o Gerber table cutting equipment
- o Lay up (hand application of raw material onto molds)
- o Furnace operations: autoclave burnout melt infiltration
- o Grit blasting
- o CNC machine operation
- o Non conventional machining (EDM laser drilling)
- o Visual and machine inspection
- Follow standard work safety procedures and quality requirements; accurately record operations and
- production data
- Support problem solving and continuous improvement to enhance Safety Quality Delivery and Cost
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident U.S. Citizen have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e. a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
