As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in East Longmeadow MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors respond to concerns document observations and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies including access control and visitor processing.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors common areas parking areas loading areas and the perimeter noting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident reports shift logs and patrol documentation including accurate descriptions of observations and actions taken.
• Assist with property operations support such as monitoring CCTV and/or fire panels securing doors and gates and providing directions or information to guests while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
