SCHEDULE
Full time / 40 hours per week
8 hour day shifts Monday-Friday
Our clinic is closed on nights weekends and holidays
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Eastside Specialty Center is UW Medicines largest ambulatory clinic. The Eastside Specialty Center has multiple specialties and is known for providing endoscopies colonoscopies cardiac tests radiology exams and medication infusions for patients living east of Seattle.
This position will specifically support our dermatology service line providing care for a broad range of general dermatologic skin conditions.
Our clinic is located in Bellevue Washington.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Join a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic
Provide specialized care to our dermatology patients
Cross-train for multiple specialties including cardiology ENT gastroenterology orthopedics and urology
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide care coordination and patient education
Conduct in-basket triage and respond to MyChart and telephone messages
Perform suture removals and wound checks
Assist with prior authorizations and insurance appeals for specialty medications
Complete patient paperwork including forms for insurance authorizations
REQUIREMENTS
2 years of recent ambulatory or medical-surgical nursing experience
Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Active BLS
