As a Locum MD you will play a crucial role in managing patient care diagnosing and treating various medical conditions and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Your expertise in endocrinology and obstetrics/gynecology will be invaluable as you work closely with our team to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical care in the fields of endocrinology and Ob/Gyn
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and womens health
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Endocrinology or Ob/Gyn
- Valid medical license to practice in Iowa
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p 1 week per month) half days on the weekends
Annual Volume: 750 cycles
Daily Volume: 4-6 cycles transfers
Support Staff: NPs MAs and fellows
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
