Turner Industries Group LLC has an opening for a Scheduler at a jobsite in Pass Christian MS. As a Scheduler you will need relevant experience with scheduling activities for multiple disciplines or crafts. Experience in capital projects turnarounds/ outages or daily maintenance scheduling is required. The candidate may be asked to schedule Maintenance Turnarounds Small Capital Projects or a combination of the three.
Essential Qualifications:
- Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen physical evaluation and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders subcontracts productivity analysis reports etc. into unit and man-hour figures; review proposal specifications drawings attend pre-bid meetings etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate; prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work; coordinate total estimating effort relevant to a particular bid/project as assigned; maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates figures; interface with owner A/E and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility; follow awarded contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items change orders credits; procuring material etc.; perform additional assignments per supervisors direction
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders scaffolds structures etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders scaffolds structures etc.; reaching in all directions handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting from ground level waist level and/or overhead; carrying objects tools equipment etc.; standing; walking; pushing; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
