Job Summary
As a Software Engr II here at Honeywell you will design develop and maintain software applications collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely project completion. Impact innovative solutions driving efficiency and productivity.
Your role will also include overseeing supervising and reviewing tasks performed by team members to ensure effective execution of work; managing endtoend processes and projects for both internal and external clients with responsibility for timely and accurate delivery; issuing clear instructions and directions to team members on tasks to be performed; and mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their skill development professional growth and overall success
Responsibilities
- Ensuring 100% end to end Test coverage using automation of the product feature ensuring the development meets the business needs.
- Understanding the automation requirement and developing solution design for complex application workflows and integrations.
- Understand business requirements and develop automated test scripts
- Set up execution infrastructure and deploy hands free execution on a regular basis
- Failure analysis and derive actions to improve quality
- Integration of automated testing with Devops pipeline to enable continuous hands-free regression execution.
- Design and architect test infrastructure to ensure cycle time and schedule goals are met.
- Deliver cycle time and quality improvement goals by implementing robust and scale-able automated testing solution
- Execute an available automation suite analyze the results and identify 30% of the issues through automation in a release.
- Develop and execute knowledge enhancement strategy to ensure the team is scaled up on the latest technology.
- Follow & drive metrics based quality management in automation team.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skill.
- Ability to think logically and intuitively.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
- Should have Strong experience in all these programming languages C# Java Python VBScript PowerShell Windows CLI commands.
- Experience in Web Automation using Selenium & API Automation using any REST based libraries
- Expert in development for automation framework and solution design for WEB MOBILE Cloud applications and Rest APIs
- Experience in automating the WPF platform-based Windows application using Test Complete/ UFT.
- Experience in automating mobile applications in both Android and IOS using Appium.
- Strong expertise in SQL
- Solid experience with GitHub and GitActions
- Expert in Performance Engineering and have experience in using any one of these performance testing tools- LoadRunner/Jmeter/Gatling/WebLOAD/ NeoLoad
- Hands-on experience in NFR Testing using SOAP UI JMeter Postman
- Simulation Experience in WebSocket & TCP/IP Protocol
- Knowledge on Embedded Automation using Arduino / RaspberryPi / Bluetooth / Wi-Fi Modules
- Good Experience in application monitoring tools based applications using AppDynamics/Dynatrace.
- Strong Exposure in identifying the WPF Controls
- Experience in automating windows based applications using any of these OpenSource tools FLA UI / WinAppDriver/ White framework
- Fair understanding of Cloud product deployments and working principles.
- Fair understanding of security system products like camera Recorder video management systemsAccess control : Reader controller and Intrusion systems
- Should be knowledge of these Automation frameworks
- Cucumber (BDD- Behaviour Driven Development) framework
- RobotFramework using python
- TestNG/ Junit framework
- Keyword Driven Development framework.
Good to have Skills:
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience in WebSocket protocol performance testing is good to have.
- Experience in developing SQL scripts.
