Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: Hybrid - Vancouver BC Canada
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Rate: 42 to 47 CAD PH

Role Summary: We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will support our clients internal engineering tools by developing robust test solutions and scalable monitoring services. The role focuses on enhancing error reporting systems across teams using modern cloud and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a core member of a distributed engineering team.

• Lead end-to-end product testing: from requirements analysis to test strategy and defect tracking.

• Design build and maintain automated test frameworks and tools.

• Partner with DevOps development and product teams across global offices.

• Monitor industry trends in cloud infrastructure and test automation.

• Recommend improvements for scalability performance and system reliability.

• Foster a culture of innovation quality and collaboration within the team.

Must-Have Skills:

• 2 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Python Groovy or Shell.

• Hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks.

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Comfortable working in distributed team environments.

• Understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.

• Experience working with AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem is a plus.
