Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a PRNPharmacy Technicianto join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facilitylocated in Plainfield Indiana.
The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.
Essential Duties:
Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions requisitions medication logs drug and patient information purchase orders and other records as required by the Pharmacist
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: PRN
