Lab Operations Technician

The Lab Operations Technician will support largescale pilotscale development manufacturing operations through hands-on laboratory activities. This role is responsible for room and equipment setup material and component preparation equipment assembly and disassembly cleaning and the processing of raw materials into finished drug product using largescale processing equipment.

This position requires strict adherence to procedures strong attention to detail in documentation and proficiency with electronic systems. The Lab Operations Technician will collaborate closely with formulators engineers Safety and Facilities teams to support pilotscale and development pipeline activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Training will be provided for all core operations; however prior experience working with largescale or pilotscale pharmaceutical equipment is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operate clean and maintain largescale and pilotscale equipment and facilities used in development manufacturing processes
• Assemble and disassemble processing equipment in accordance with approved procedures
• Support scaleup activities by preparing materials components and equipment for pilotscale manufacturing runs
• Maintain inventory transport and organize processing equipment materials supplies and product
• Execute all required documentation and clerical activities to support lab and pilot area operations
• Operate and maintain cleaning and sterilization equipment including parts washers dry heat ovens and autoclaves
• Receive inspect store and manage sterile supplies and equipment ensuring proper inventory levels and organization
• Support sterile formulation and largevolume processing activities according to batch records and established protocols
• Follow all safety quality and compliance requirements while working in controlled and cleanroom environments

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in a science or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of industry laboratory experience (pilotscale manufacturing or GMP environment preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a crossfunctional team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending stooping squatting crawling twisting climbing ladders and wearing cleanroom gowning and respirators as required
