We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Product Operations team and lead the management of sandbox environments for our customers using our signature platform services. You will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining scalable solutions for sandbox policy enforcement automatic resource management and subscription tiering.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement automated policies to manage user access to sandbox environments (including timed evictions and automatic sandbox teardown) to optimize resource usage and ensure security/compliance.
Architect and automate the creation assignment and destruction of sandbox environments ensuring that customer usage aligns with organizational policies and licensing agreements.
Develop a robust tagging strategy for sandboxes and related resources to facilitate tracking billing and auditing.
Implement logic and tooling that enable dynamic tiering up and down of customer subscriptions including feature access and sandbox size limitations.
Develop dashboards and alerts to monitor sandbox usage automate notifications for resource quota breaches and provide customers/admins with usage insights.
Work cross-functionally with product support and engineering teams to resolve issues improve existing processes and integrate new product features into the DevOps workflow.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
4 years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or Product Operations in SaaS environments
Experience managing sandboxes or ephemeral environments for external customers
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platforms
Proficient with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation)
Experience with automation/orchestration (e.g. Python Bash Ansible)
Experience with resource tagging IAM policy design and user access automation
Strong understanding of subscription/billing/tiering concepts in SaaS
Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with cost optimization and environment security best practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
