Job Description
As a Security Officer - TWIC Checkpoint Driver in Deer Park TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and/or petrochemical location you will help manage entry points verify credentials issue badges and support visitor and contractor check-in while monitoring activity and completing routine patrols. You will stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents document observations and deliver strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification issuing and collecting visitor credentials maintaining access logs and directing arrivals to the proper check-in processes.
- Monitor cameras alarms radios and access control systems; report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by promptly communicating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events preserving information for reports and coordinating notifications per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including perimeter and restricted zones watching for hazards unsecured doors and policy violations; document findings and report maintenance issues as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
