CDL-A Truck Driver

Position Overview

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated grocery account based in Opelika AL. This is a local driving position with daily home time consistent freight and the opportunity to earn strong weekly pay.

Drivers will operate within regional lanes including Atlanta Birmingham and South Georgia delivering essential freight with reliable miles and steady schedules.

Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1100 $1200 (5-day schedule)
• Top Weekly Pay: $1300 $1550 (6-day schedule)
• Weekly Miles:miles

Additional Pay

• Short Haul Pay: $30$40 (140 miles)
• Stop Pay: $10 first stop / $15 additional stops
• Detention Pay: $20/hour after 2 hours (up to $250)
• Night Differential: $0.04$0.05 CPM
• Weekend Differential: $0.04 CPM

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Daily
• 5-day work schedule standard
• Optional 6th day available for increased earnings
• Day and night shifts available
• Weekend and holiday work required based on schedule

Freight & Equipment

• Dedicated grocery freight
• Mix of live load live unload and drop & hook
• No-touch freight (store handles unloading)
• Slip-seat operation (shared equipment)
• Modern automatic transmission trucks

Lane Information

• Primary delivery areas include:
• • Atlanta GA
  • Birmingham AL
  • South Georgia
• Consistent freight volume and steady routes
• Occasional backhauls

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months verifiable CDL-A experience required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays
• Must live within 40 miles of Opelika AL
• Must meet all safety and background requirements
