Summary:

Under the supervision of an RN performs basic patient care activities and continual one-on-one patient monitoring.

Responsibilities:

Assists with keeping patient rooms/areas stocked clean and abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical mental and emotional conditions to nursing technical procedures as delegated including but not limited to establishing and discontinuing Peripheral IV access and transporting patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living including bathing grooming and basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN including but not limited to monitoring vital signs EKG testing phlebotomy taking blood glucose measurements splinting wound care and recording intake and and communicates all attempted and/ or completed procedures to the nursing/medical staff.
