Emission Test Support Technician 2nd Shift

eShocan is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Emission Test Support Technician to support vehicle emissions testing and validation activities. This role involves operating chassis dynamometer systems executing emission test procedures and maintaining test cell operations in a controlled environment.

• Set up test vehicles on chassis dynamometers using standard operating procedures
• Operate chassis dynamometer systems and emission analyzers per engineering test requests
• Execute drive cycles on test vehicles (manual or automated) as specified by engineering teams
• Perform particulate filter measurements ensuring proper handling in clean environments
• Support daily test scheduling and coordination activities
• Maintain cleanliness organization and readiness of test cells
• Participate in safety quality and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work in environmental test chambers with temperature ranges from -35 C to 50 C

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emissions testing
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Chassis dynamometer operation
  • Emission analyzer setup
  • EPA drive cycles such as FTP-75 US06 and HFET
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to testing protocols
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Experience in general automotive repair and diagnostics
• ASE Certifications
