Urgently Hiring
Outpatient coverage only
$140k-$190k per year
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Midwife to join our practice full time in the Freeport NY Long Island area. The incoming nurse practitioner/midwife must be compassionate an excellent clinician and someone who is experienced in womens health or willing to learn gyn. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group and the incoming Nurse practitioner/Midwife will be focusing on womens health/gyn within the office for outpatient only.

Duties:
- Patient exam/evaluations (physical exam review pertinent medical history/records/imaging) Annual wellness exam
- Order/review diagnostic testing/labs/bloodwork
- Perform Pap smearspreferred Colposcopies endometrial biopsies removal of IUD
- Diagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
- Patient education re: diagnosis treatment plan options and lifestyle modifications
- Treatments for acute and chronic conditions
- Documentation- timely and accurate
- Collaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient care
- Make phone calls/emails as needed or required for patient care
- Medication refills as needed
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Midwife program
- Nurse Practitioner/Midwife license in NY
- Womens health experience or willingness to learn
- Full time
- $140k-$190k per year (depending on certifications/experience level)
