Work Shift:
Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)Responsible to coordinate patient meal service; e.g. menu selections tray assembly tray delivery and pick up special requests and needs. Ensures employees are adequately trained and units are properly staffed to provide service.
Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
B. Experience:
Two (2) years food service or customer service experience.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
None.
D. Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of facility. Ability to add
subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions
and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and interpret bar graphs. Possesses
necessary skills to effectively operate hospitals admission discharge and transfer system and
other computer-based systems which manage patient-care records. Ability to apply common
sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability
to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
