About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Specialist to support the engineering automation and operational enablement of our nextgeneration data center platforms. This role works directly under the Platform Owner Data Center assisting in executing InfrastructureasCode deployments platform engineering tasks Nasuni operational activities and daily DevOps workflows.

This position is ideal for someone with strong scripting and automation skills familiarity with hybrid infrastructure and a passion for improving operational efficiency through DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps & Platform Operations

• Execute daytoday DevOps tasks supporting compute storage virtualization and Nasuni environments.

• Run monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps GitHub).

• Perform routine log reviews configuration checks and environment health validation.

• Support deployment of VMs containers and platform components following the KONE guidelines/standards.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Execute IaC modules using Terraform Ansible or PowerShell DSC

• Develop simple automation scripts (Python PowerShell Bash) to support platform operations.

• Support automated build pipelines testing and configuration drift checks.

Nasuni Operational Support

• Help onboard new platforms into monitoring systems (Datadog Dynatrace Splunk LogicMonitor or similar).

• Validate alerts anomalies and telemetry data for correctness and completeness.

• Assist in integrating Nasuni and data center components into AIOps workflows.

• Update dashboards thresholds and event routing configurations as needed.

Platform Engineering & Project Execution

• Support new platform rollouts environment builds and infrastructure provisioning tasks.

• Participate in patching cycles (Operating System Database Middleware Firmware) updates DR tests and platform readiness checks.

• Execute tasks defined by the Platform Owner for ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Support documentation and testing for new platform features or architectural changes.

Partner Support

• Assist in creating runbooks SOPs and DevOps execution guides.

• Work with partner teams to ensure adherence to automation and process guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps GitLab or similar).

• Hands-on proficiency with IaC (Terraform Ansible or similar).

• Scripting experience (Python PowerShell or similar).

• Working knowledge of:

  • VMware ecosystem (vSphere NSX) HCI platforms or Kubernetes.

  • Basic networking concepts (VLANs SDN firewalls).

  • Linux and Windows platform automation.

Tooling & Observability

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus Dynatrace Datadog Elastic Splunk LogicMonitor etc.).

• Experience integrating logging/metric pipelines (Fluentd Logstash Grafana etc.).

• Exposure to AIOps concepts and automation workflows.

Soft Skills

• Strong collaboration skillsespecially with architecture and operations teams.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on automation quality and reliability.

• Ability to work in a fastmoving multipartner environment.

• Clear communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 37 years of experience in DevOps automation engineering or platform engineering.

• Certifications such as Terraform Associate Azure/AWS DevOps VMware VCP or related.

• Experience supporting global data center environments or managed services partnerships.
