Job Summary
Location: Klerksdorp North West
Industry: Precious Metals / Gold MiningExperience: 510 years in mining finance (Gold or Precious Metals essential)
Qualification: Registered CA (SA)
Level: Senior Management Full Finance Function
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full finance function including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance.
- Oversee cost control financial analysis and operational finance within a mining environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes.
- Maintain and improve internal controls for a complex mining operation.
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and operational teams.
- Manage audits statutory compliance and regulatory reporting specific to mining and precious metals.
- Lead a finance team and promote operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- CA (SA) qualification essential.
- 510 years of senior finance experience within Gold or Precious Metals Mining (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience managing a full finance function in a mining production environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management operational finance and mining financial systems.
- Leadership capability with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to operate in a fast-paced high-compliance environment.
