Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to join a leading organisation in the precious metals and gold mining sector based in Klerksdorp North West. This strategic leadership role is ideal for a CA(SA) with 510 years of mining finance expertise looking to take full ownership of the finance function within a complex production environment. If you are a seasoned financial professional with strong operational insight and a proven track record in mining this opportunity offers both challenge and meaningful career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full finance function including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and compliance.
- Oversee cost control financial analysis and operational finance within a mining environment.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes.
- Maintain and improve internal controls for a complex mining operation.
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and operational teams.
- Manage audits statutory compliance and regulatory reporting specific to mining and precious metals.
- Lead a finance team and promote operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification essential.
- 510 years of senior finance experience within gold or precious metals mining (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience managing a full finance function in a mining production environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management operational finance and mining financial systems.
- Leadership capability with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to operate in a fast-paced high-compliance environment.
