Shift: 5th Shift WedSat 6:00 PM 6:00 AM or ThursSun 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Status: Hourly
Reports To: 715 Supervisor
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Night Shift Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing this role you will keep all plant equipment and machinery operating efficiently troubleshoot problems and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate is highly dependable safety-conscious and experienced in mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems with a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance and repair of production equipment including vacuum furnaces boilerclaves conveyors wax presses and robotic cells.
Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
Operate and maintain robotic systems including preventative maintenance and light programming.
Assist with other plant maintenance work as required by supervisors.
Handle hazardous waste in accordance with MSDS and company policies.
Perform work in various areas including electrical pneumatics hydraulics pipe fitting welding and soldering.
Operate maintenance equipment such as fork trucks scissor lifts and aerial lifts.
Maintain housekeeping organization and 6S standards in work areas.
Repair service and maintain equipment at outside vendors suppliers customers and other company locations as needed.
Follow all safety rules and regulations and ensure compliance by others.
Perform additional duties as assigned including limited construction/installation of equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical degree or certification preferred.
35 years of experience in general maintenance of plant equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in vacuum furnace operation and repair.
Knowledge of robotic maintenance/programming hydraulics plumbing pipe fitting welding and soldering.
Proven track record in post-cast manufacturing product processing and working in a team environment.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and work under tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills independence and sense of urgency.
Physical ability to work in varied environments and conditions including extreme temperatures.
