Maintenance Technician

What You Get To Do: 

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all preventive corrective and renovative maintenance needs of assigned buildings grounds and vehicles are completed in accordance with licensure and regulations. This position is also responsible to complete maintenance repairs as necessary. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Ensure residential homes grounds and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times 
• Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning 
• Assist in the coordinationof the maintenance and repair of Dungarvins fleet of vehicles 
• Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs 
• Ensure an organized responsible and controlled manner of acquiring and maintaining all tools equipment and keys belonging to the organization. 
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs. 

Qualifications :

What makes you a great fit: 

• High school diplomaor GED 
• Two (2) yearsexperience in residential building maintenance including heating plumbing electrical and general repair. 
• Must have valid drivers license and vehicle that can be used on the job.
• Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures. 
• Must have good decision-making and communication skills be responsible mature flexibility to be on-call as need and able to work independently and as a team member. 
• Appropriate transportation and basic tools required. 
• Ability to be on call in evenings and weekends 
• Good communicationis key in this on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
