To support this mission Syngentas PT&E Analytical and Product Chemistry team is seeking a Research Scientist in Goa India. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Analytical Scientist to join our GLP-compliant laboratory in the agrochemical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex analytical tests developing and validating methods and ensuring compliance with GLP standards and regulatory requirements.
Accountabilities:
Strong theoretical background in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
Develop optimize and validate robust analytical methods for: Content analysis By-products analysis Enantiomeric purity determinations
Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques: LC-MS/MS GC-MS Ion chromatography NMR Spectroscopy Etc
Advanced 2D NMR techniques (COSY HSQC HMBC) is a plus.
Execute complex analytical testing of agrochemical products utilizing state-of-the-art instrumental techniques: like HPLC GC FT-IR NMR spectroscopy Karl-Fisher titration Ion chromatography
Able to evaluate and apply a variety of chromatographic and orthogonal techniques to solve complex analytical problems
Able to assess and select the appropriate spectroscopic technique necessary to solve an analytical problem.
Knowledge of GLP principles and regulatory requirements (e.g. EPA OECD guidelines).
Coordinate with global and internal stakeholders to be updated about analytical activities resource planning pertaining to Product Champion Role
Prepare analytical reports including method validation reports and study summaries in compliance with GLP guidelines.
Ensure proper calibration maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects and regulatory submissions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory processes and procedures.
Experienced in Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for analytical methods and laboratory operations.
Stay updated on current industry trends in analytical chemistry.
Qualifications :
Masters degree with 8-10 years of experience in analytical chemistry area or Ph.D. with 6-8 years of experience preferable analytical or allied Science area from the reputed Universities with strong academic records and good communication skills. Experienced Analytical Chemist with GLP experience is desirable.
