Job Summary
For a prestigious customer - we are looking for dedicated Data / AI Engineers (Lead Engineer and seniors to leverage their extensive experience in Data engineering AI and public cloud areas to interpret our customers business and technical requirements in order to extract the value from their data using Dataiku and GCP products and services as well as other industry-known technologies.
In this position you will:
- work as part of the 24x7 Data & AI Factory team working with the customer to support their data-ops and AI projects
- be involved in designing building maintaining and troubleshooting data pipelines models and transformations
- help to build maintain and troubleshoot data observability solutions to improve data quality
- help turn data into valuable business insights preparing custom solutions optimised for each client
- act as a trusted advisor for junior team members
- lead by example
Note: this position may require working in shifts overnight and during weekends.
Qualifications :
We are looking canditations with the below qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or Math or related technical field / equivalent experience
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of GO
- Good DBT knowledge
- Proficient in SQL
- Good knowledge of Power BI
- Some experience with Vertex AI and Dataiku (certification a big asset)
- Experience with programming in Agile methodology as well as ITIL best practices
- Knowledge of database and data analysis technologies including relational and NoSQL databases data warehouse design and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Relevant experience with GCP data products and services
- Some experience with job orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow Dagster)
- Some experience with data ingestion tools (e.g. Fivetran Airbyte )
- Some experience in Hadoop and using platforms such as Apache Spark Pig or Hive
- Fluency in English
