Job Summary
Internal Job Title: Production Operator
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Danville Virginia (350 Stinson Drive)
Work Model: On-site
Work Hours: Shift: 3 x 12 hours (7am-7 pm;7pm-7 am); 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 3 days off; ***NOTE*** - it is highly likely that this position will be a night shift position
Wage: $16.47/hr night shift premium of $1.50/hr
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate laser engraving printing and mailing equipment
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as directed
- Examine printed product for flaws or defects
- Various other duties and responsibilities
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the USA
- Fluent in English (speak read write)
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable using a computer)
- Able to stand for prolonged periods walk/bend/reach and lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Able to follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing warehousing or fast-paced retail environment
- High school diploma or GED
