Finishing Operator 2nd shift

At Avery Dennison we are Making Possible. As a Finishing Operator you are the final touchpoint in our production cycle ensuring our products reach customers with total precision. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality results safety and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

• Precision Packaging: Sort label and package finished goods according to exact customer specifications and quality standards.

• Quality Control: Inspect the appearance of finished products to maintain our zero-defect goal.

• Operational Support: Prepare cores for machine operators and maintain a steady flow of packaging materials to keep the line moving.

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with different shifts and departments to ensure smooth handoffs and effective site operations.

• Problem Solving: Participate in group problem-solving and 5S audits to improve safety and productivity.

Qualifications :

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Experience: High School Diploma/GED OR 3 years of manufacturing experience.

• Safety-First Mindset: You prioritize the wellbeing of yourself and your teammates above all else.

• Detail Oriented: You take pride in Delivering High-Quality Work and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) exactly.

• Adaptable Team Player: You are willing to step outside your assigned duties to help a coworker and can pivot quickly when priorities shift.

• Technical Readiness: Comfortable learning new computer applications and able to obtain a Lift Truck Operators License.

• Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM 10:00 PM Monday - Friday

Hiring rate: $22.47/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
