We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to support our process improvement initiatives. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to document analyze and visualize business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting current-state (as-is) business processes through interviews workshops and data review
- Create clear and accurate process maps using tools such as Visio Lucidchart Miro or similar
- Support analysis of process gaps bottlenecks risks and redundancies
- Help develop future-state (to-be) process maps and improvement recommendations
- Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to validate process flows
- Prepare presentations and summary reports for project updates
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Industrial Engineering Operations Management Information Systems or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into visual diagrams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with process mapping or improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma BPMN)
- Experience with process mapping or diagramming tools
- Interest in operational excellence and continuous improvement
Learning Opportunities
- Hands-on experience with real-world business processes
- Exposure to process improvement frameworks and best practices
- Mentorship from experienced operations and process improvement professionals
- Development of analytical documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
