What you will be doing
- Execute mechanical maintenance tasks promptly to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Conduct monitoring and preventative maintenance (PM/PDM) procedures to uphold equipment functionality.
- Utilize CMMS system adeptly for comprehensive documentation of repairs and associated time.
- Install new equipment and execute modifications on existing machinery proficiently.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair duties on production machinery ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical systems to preempt potential issues.
- Demonstrate expertise in utilizing Temperature Controllers PLCs HMIs and Frequency Drives for optimal equipment performance.
- Take responsibility for the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems ensuring operational efficiency.
- Adhere to pertinent state and federal regulations codes and ordinances prioritizing safety protocols and regulations.
What will make you successful
Required:
- Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician).
- 2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to obtain Oregon electrical license within 6 months.
Preferred:
- Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician orGeneral Journeyman Electrician (preferred).
- PLC experience (preferred).
- VFD experience (preferred).
- Mechanical experience (preferred).
