Director of Surgical Services

Fredericksburg TX Full-Time Days (No Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $97052 $145000 (based on experience)
Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%
Sign-On & Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case basis)
Schedule: Monday Friday Day Shift (No Weekends)

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

Oversee all daily surgical operations ensuring efficiency safety and quality outcomes.
Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.

Quality & Clinical Excellence

Implement evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and surgical outcomes.
Ensure all equipment processes and workflows meet regulatory requirements.

Strategic Growth & Innovation

Collaborate with surgeons and executive leadership to expand service lines and increase surgical volume.
Leverage advanced technologies including robotics to enhance patient care.

Financial Management

Develop and manage the departments annual operating budget.
Monitor revenue control expenses and optimize labor productivity.

People Leadership & Culture

Recruit develop and retain top clinical talent.
Foster a culture of accountability engagement and continuous improvement.
Provide mentorship coaching and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Masters Degree Preferred

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in Surgical Services
Proven leadership experience required
Open to current Surgical Services Managers ready to step into a Director-level role
Leaders from Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) with strong acute care knowledge are encouraged to apply
