This dual-focus role offers hands-on experience in both Nonprofit Communications and Volunteer Management. You wont just be observing; you will be the voice of our mission helping us tell the stories of the individuals we serve and building the volunteer force that makes our work possible.
Tasks and duties the internship include but are not limited to: Support the growth of Laradons volunteer program through recruitment onboarding scheduling and ongoing communication.
Assist with day-of volunteer logistics for groups and events to ensure smooth operations and positive experiences.
Supporting the communications manager with creating unique and interesting content for Laradons social media channels Facebook Instagram TikTok & LinkedIn
Creating content for the blog on a monthly basis. This includes setting up interviews taking photos interviewing writing and posting the story
Supporting the Communications Coordinator in creating a successful Disability Pride Month Campaign for the month of July.
- Help design and execute consistent marketing materials fundraising appeals and social media blitzes to celebrate our community.
We are looking for someone who Experience creating unique engaging and impactful content for Facebook Instagram TikTok and YouTube
Is hungry to tell stories that create change in our community
Ability to adapt to a fast paced frequently changing work environment and company structure.
Feels comfortable working alongside individuals in the intellectual and developmental disability community
Requirements Must be able to receive school credit for the internship.
