As an Accessibility and Automation Test Engineer within the Quality Engineering team you drive endtoend quality through WCAG 2.1/2.2 and EN 301 549 conformance rigorous defect analysis and actionable reporting. You build and maintain scalable test automation in Java using Selenium and Playwright enabling shiftleft practices across unit component and API layers. You collaborate with Product Design Engineering and Operations to embed accessible patterns accelerate delivery and independently lead initiatives to strong outcomes.
3. Job Responsibilities
- Lead and execute accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1/2.2 and EN 301 549.
- Validate accessibility using NVDA JAWS VoiceOver TalkBack Deque Axe Lighthouse CCA PDF Acrobat Pro PAC ZoomText VoiceControl and DNS.
- Create and maintain Javabased UI and API automation using Selenium and Playwright.
- Drive shiftleft quality with unit component and API tests using BDD with Cucumber and integrated reporting.
- Perform UI API and database validations; coordinate performance test scenarios with engineering teams.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and track quality metrics for releases.
- Independently lead projects manage scope and timelines and deliver highquality outcomes.
4. Required qualifications skills and capabilities
- Handson accessibility testing experience with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and EN 301 549; working knowledge of HTML and WAIARIA.
- Proficiency with assistive technologies and tooling: NVDA JAWS VoiceOver TalkBack Deque Axe Lighthouse CCA PDF Acrobat Pro PAC ZoomText VoiceControl DNS.
- Strong Java skills with test automation using Selenium and Playwright; experience with BDD Cucumber and API testing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives analyze defects communicate clearly manage time effectively and deliver to tight deadlines
5. Preferred qualifications skills and capabilities
- Experience using code assistant tools such as Copilot to accelerate highquality test code.
- Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD with dashboards for results and defect trends.
- Experience partnering with product and design to embed accessible patterns early in the lifecycle.
