The opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Manager to lead and manage technical teams projects and solutions within HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality innovative energy technology solutions.

How youll make an impact:

• Lead mentor and manage a team of technical professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of projects ensuring adherence to scope budget and timelines.

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design development implementation and maintenance of energy technology solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management sales and operations to define technical requirements and strategies.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in technical processes tools and methodologies conduct technical reviews and ensure the quality scalability and security of developed solutions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in the energy sector.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical progress and challenges effectively.

• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap development for the company identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 10 years of progressive experience in technical roles within the energy sector with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management position.

• Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams including performance management and professional development.

• Strong technical background in energy systems smart grids renewable energy integration power electronics or related domains.

• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and IoT technologies is a plus. Certifications in project management (PMP PRINCE2) or relevant technical domains are advantageous.

• Exceptional communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
