Sales Manager (Rio Tinto Services Inc. Chicago IL)
Contribute to the North America Rio Tinto Aluminum sales strategy for value added products to optimize the position through a mix of long-term and short-term sales contracts with customers and distributors. Meet revenue targets and key performance indicators and project sales volume and margin for existing and new products. Develop strong and professional relationship with key customers. Develop long term business developmental opportunities. Lead or participate in large contract negotiation. Pursue spot market opportunities for new customers. Develop trading strategies. Pursue 3rd party sourcing opportunities that align with overall product strategy.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week $203923.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Law Legal Studies Finance or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience within the aluminum and metals industry in commodity sales manufacturing and supply chain management.
Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience in the following:
Must have 2 years of experience in managing teams of 1 to 3 people.
International travel required up to 10%; Domestic travel required up to 50%.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
