The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting strong attainment and progress.
Assessing student work regularly and providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Supporting students through targeted intervention and additional learning support where required.
Encouraging students to develop logical thinking confidence with numbers and problem-solving skills.
Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
Collaborating with colleagues within the Mathematics department to develop teaching resources and share best practice.
