Job description:
We are recruiting a Sales Manager to spearhead business development across Spain. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director the successful candidate will be responsible for growing the food flavors portfolio and ensuring long-term client loyalty.
Main responsibilities will be to:
Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to determine market expectations and sales forecasts
Define and execute a conquest plan for new customers organizing visits and follow-ups
Advise clients on aromatic compositions and promote the companys technical expertise and product performance
Manage contracts volumes and margins under the supervision of the Commercial Direction.
Ensure regular client interaction via visits video calls and phone calls to maintain loyalty
Deliver monthly reports on visit activity objective achievement and margin compliance
Work with the Sales Administration team to monitor contract execution and handle customer requirements (quality audits specifications).
Requirements:
Experience
Ideally a first successful experience in a technical-commercial role within the food flavors or ingredients sector
Proven ability in commercial prospection and building professional networks
Education
Masters degree (Bac 5) in Business Food Science or an equivalent field
Languages
Proficiency in English
French would be a plus
Competences
Technical Knowledge: Mastery of regulatory frameworks in the food sector
Sales Skills: Strong negotiation customer needs analysis and market trend tracking
Behavioral: Results-oriented organized and rigorous
Personal Attributes: Curious persistent autonomous and a strong communicator
