Job Summary

MalaceHR is seeking a skilled Electricianto support a commercial facility. This role is responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems while also assisting with general facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the building.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills experience working in commercial environments and the ability to support a wide range of facility maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Install maintain and repair electrical wiring equipment fixtures and systems throughout the facility.
Inspect test troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Measure cut and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs including replacing worn or defective components.
Examine electrical systems for loose connections damaged insulation or other hazards and perform necessary repairs.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment replace faulty parts and reassemble equipment.
Support preventative maintenance programs for electrical and facility systems.
Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed including minor repairs and upkeep of building systems.
Maintain tools vehicles and equipment while ensuring parts and supplies are organized and stocked.
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Follow all safety procedures and comply with facility maintenance standards.

Required Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Knowledge of machines and tools including their design operation repair and maintenance.
Basic understanding of technical plans blueprints drawings and electrical diagrams.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience working as an electrician in a commercial or industrial environment preferred.
Knowledge of electrical systems equipment maintenance and facility operations.
