Job Purpose

As a QA Engineer you will be an integral member of a high-performance feature-driven team dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of complex eCommerce solutions. You will be responsible for the full testing lifecycle from analyzing intricate business requirements to executing detailed test cases and verifying critical bug fixes. Your role is essential in maintaining the high standards required for enterprise-level digital products working collaboratively across technical teams to mitigate risks. By providing proactive recommendations and ensuring flawless third-party integrations you will help deliver seamless and high-quality digital experiences for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements to design document and execute comprehensive test cases that ensure product integrity.
• Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing for SFCC (Storefront & Business Manager) implementations and PWA Kit storefront features.
• Validate configurations and data setups in Business Manager (products and catalogs promotions content assets orders price books inventory etc.)
• Test Storefront features (PLP PDP Cart Checkout Payments Order confirmation).
• Validate integrations such as payment gateways tax providers shipping methods OMS and third-party services.
• Identify report and track software defects within bug-tracking systems ensuring thorough verification of all fixes.
• Provide accurate effort estimations for individual features and assigned tasks to support project planning and timelines.
• Actively participate in daily project meetings and brainstorming sessions to address technical issues and quality risks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams to maintain a unified approach to quality assurance.
• Conduct rigorous integration testing for third-party services and external components within the eCommerce ecosystem.
• Propose improvements for QA-related procedures tools and systems to the QA Lead and Project Managers.
• Maintain clear and consistent reporting on test results and overall product quality status for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software testing including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the SFCC domain backed by a strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing principles
• Hands-on experience working with SFCC Business Manager SFCC Storefront and PWA Kit/ Headless Commerce implementation
• Knowledge of eCommerce workflows (Catalog management Pricing & promotions Checkout & payment gateway integration Order lifecycle management)
• Proven experience in requirement analysis test case creation and comprehensive reporting of test results.
• Hands-on expertise with bug-tracking systems and a deep understanding of the defect lifecycle.
• Intermediate English communication skills both spoken and written for effective collaboration in a global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to test third-party integrations and complex web-based applications.
• Proficiency in estimating testing efforts for specific features or individual task loads.
• Strong team player with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs and dynamic environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman JIRA Confluence or JMeter is highly desirable.
