Position: QA Analyst (Manual Testing)
Location: Bangalore (Brookefield) In-Office Role
Experience: 1 years relevant experience
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays Working)
Working Hours: 10:30 AM 7:30 PM
Compensation: As per industry standards
About the Role
Were looking for a QA Analyst with hands-on experience in manual testing to support the quality assurance of banking and financial applications. You will work closely with the team to validate workflows identify defects and ensure smooth releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and test scenarios for functional and regression testing
- Perform manual testing of web applications
- Test REST APIs using tools like Postman (basic level)
- Identify log and track defects clearly
- Participate in requirement understanding and sprint activities
- Perform basic SQL validation for data accuracy
- Support UAT testing and validation
- Prepare simple test reports and status updates
- Maintain proper QA documentation
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 1 years of experience in manual software testing
- Good understanding of SDLC and amp; STLC
- Ability to write clear test cases and scenarios
- Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing
- Basic API testing knowledge (Postman/Swagger)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
- Good analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to banking/financial applications
- Experience supporting UAT
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent)
