Mills Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Preowned Director to lead and enhance our preowned vehicle operations. Located in Pineville NC this role requires a strategic leader who can drive sales growth optimize inventory management and build strong customer relationships while upholding our companys commitment to excellence and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase preowned vehicle sales and profitability across all locations.
- Manage inventory levels to meet market demand and ensure a competitive and diverse vehicle selection.
- Lead mentor and motivate the preowned sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to align marketing finance and service efforts with preowned operations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies legal regulations and ethical standards in all preowned transactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors wholesale partners and customers to enhance business opportunities.
- Oversee acquisition and wholesale processes including managing a team of buyers to optimize vehicle sourcing and profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive preowned sales leadership or a related managerial role.
- Strong understanding of vehicle remarketing inventory management and pricing strategies.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with automotive industry software and sales platforms is preferred.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.
