Essential Duties:
- Assist manager by performing related duties
- Assist the manager in organizing planning and implementing strategy
- Assist in resolving customer issues to their overall satisfaction
- Explore opportunities to add value to the job and recommend changes to the manager
- Participate in recruitment with Talent Acquisition and dismissal processes with Human Resources
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
- Helps to coach counsel and discipline employees
- Motivate employees and ensuring a focus on the mission
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety
- Fill in for manager in times of absence. Make executive decisions hold/ attend meetings and provide accountability
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Shift: Monday Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid US Drivers License
- Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of machines and tools.
- Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
- Solid computer skills.
- Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate clear and concise instructions to employees
Physical Working Attributes:
- Lift push and or pull up to 50lbs.
- Work near high noise levels.
- Periodically exposed to all outdoor elements including heat cold rain insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time.
