Position Summary:
The Extension Educator Assistant will provide support to the Blueberry IPM Scout Training Program working with the MSU Extension Blueberry Team coordinating the curriculum development for a new Advanced IPM Scout training program for blueberry growers and farm workers.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum & Training Support
- Coordinate the development and review of curriculum and all training materials to ensure accuracy topic relevance and adaptation to the educational levels of target audiences.
- Review instructional content to maintain quality clarity and appropriateness for adult learners.
Program Coordination
- Organize and manage the instructional calendar ensuring deadlines and training events are well coordinated and delivered on time.
- Track task assignments for instructors and monitor progress across all training activities.
- Support efficient program operations to ensure seamless delivery of the scout training program.
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with a variety of audiences and community partners to foster trust and support meaningful community impact.
- Assist in tracking outreach data and coordinating scheduling systems to support program expansion and effectiveness.
Program Evaluation
- Support evaluation of program outcomes to inform continuous improvement and effective service delivery.
