Position Summary
As an integral member of the Workplace Violence Prevention (WVP) Program at UHN the Administrative Quality Lead provides organizational operational and quality leadership in support of the programs mission to enhance safety trust and respect across all sites. Reporting to the Medical Director the Administrative Quality Lead supports coordination quality improvement and administrative oversight for WVP initiatives and related governance structures. This role facilitates data-driven decision-making ensures consistent documentation and communication standards and contributes to system-wide program integration aligned with UHNs strategic goals and legislative compliance requirements. The position plays a key leadership role within the administrative team by mentoring staff optimizing workflows promoting continuous quality improvement and fostering a supportive high-performing environment grounded in UHN values of safety accountability and collaboration.
Duties
- Communicates and reinforces the programs mission vision and alignment with UHNs organizational safety and quality strategy.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of WVP policies frameworks and standard operating procedures in collaboration with program leadership and stakeholders.
- Leads and coordinates administrative operations to ensure efficient execution of WVP initiatives training and evaluation activities.
- Collaborates with data analytics occupational health and quality teams to monitor performance indicators and safety metrics.
- Supports project planning documentation and reporting related to policy compliance regulatory audits and risk mitigation.
- Ensures all administrative processes align with UHNs enterprise standards for data integrity confidentiality and documentation.
- Promotes a positive inclusive work environment that supports diversity psychological safety and professional growth.
- Collaborates with program leadership to assess workforce capacity identify resource needs and implement staffing solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
- Participates in internal and external educational initiatives to remain current on best practices in organizational safety workplace violence prevention and quality management.
- This role contributes to the advancement of a system-wide culture of mutual respect and safety across UHN through strong administrative leadership quality performance and operational excellence.
Qualifications :
- At minimum a completion of BA Baccalaureate required.
- Qualification or work experience in human factors design in healthcare or healthcare design.
- Five (5) years clinical administrative experience or similar including experience as required by area of responsibility and experience working in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment and collaborates with others in assisting with the delivery of care to patients.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Excellent skills in recognizing analyzing and resolving problems.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards.
- Exercise initiative and good judgement with ability to multi-task.
- Adapts to and implements change and facilitates its acceptance by others.
- Maintains and protects patient confidentiality in accordance with UHN Confidentiality policy requirements.
- Compliance with confidentiality requirements.
- Effective organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of applicable legislative UHN and/or departmental policies.
