Owners Representative Project Manager

AECOM Tishman has an exciting opportunity for an Owners Representative Project Manager for mixed-use project in Portland ME.  

Job duties:

• Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
• Manages the integration of multiple commercial components to ensure the project meets the owners strategic and financial goals.  
• Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers enforces company and project policies and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. 
• Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Engineering/Construction Management or similar curriculum and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in construction project management with a specific knowledge of large-scale multifamily or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in working to align high-level development strategy and technical construction execution.
• Construction experience in monitoring and maintaining budgets reviewing requests managing change orders and evaluating/recommending value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Experience as primary point of contact between the owner and all parties including architects general contractors lenders and municipal authorities.
• Strong and applicable knowledge of contracts delivery methods safety standards (OSHA) and local building codes.
• Strong negotiation conflict resolution and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests in high-stakes environments.
• Understanding of building systems that must different occupancy types.
• Knowledge of construction documentation such as RFP RFI change order management subcontractor certification etc.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management software such as CMiC Procore Microsoft Project etc.
