Job Summary
A highly academic and well-regarded secondary school in Harrogate is seeking a talented and knowledgeable History Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from April.

The Role
The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 & KS4 with strong KS5 provision available depending on experience. You will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking historical analysis and a deep understanding of past events and their modern significance.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering academically rigorous History lessons
Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
Encouraging debate analysis and independent historical enquiry
Contributing to curriculum development within the Humanities faculty
Supporting enrichment opportunities such as history clubs trips and guest speakers

Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge in History
