Job Summary
Role Descriptions:
Exp: 6 - 12 Years
Pay range: 53- 58/hr
Must-Have
Manage day-to-day operations of databases including monitoring backups and routine maintenance tasks.
Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles.
Extensive experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues such as performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.
Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for critical databases.
Implement and maintain database security measures including user access controls and data encryption.
Plan and assist in database upgrades patching and migrations.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schemas and queries for performance.
Document procedures and best practices for database management and maintenance.
Familiarity with database administration tools for monitoring and maintenance.
Expertise in database clustering Always on Availability groups and failover technologies.
Install SQL server on standalone and always on clusters
Good-to-Have
APS performance troubleshooting Application Performance Monitoring
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Conduct capacity planning and resource forecasting
PowerShell scripting for automations
