As a Locum Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced imaging techniques. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and contribute to the overall success of our medical practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret imaging results
- Provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques
- Participate in case reviews and clinical discussions
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards in imaging practices
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and results
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of New York
- Board certification in Radiology
- Experience in performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging studies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Occasional 9-hour day shifts
Daily Volume: 12-17 cases
Case Types: Light IR procedures
Required Procedures: CT and USG biopsies paracentesis thoracentesis lumbar punctures milligrams drain and chest tube insertions nephrostomies fluoro and embolization procedures
Board certification required
