Job description
The Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of real estate development and construction projects from initial concept through occupancy. This leader will manage pre-construction activities such as permitting and design coordination as well as construction oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest design standards.
Additionally this role will help build and lead a dedicated internal development and construction team positioning Haynes Group for continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Leadership
Lead entitlements and permitting efforts coordinating with municipalities agencies and stakeholders.
Manage the design process with architects engineers and consultants to align with vision budget and schedule.
Collaborate with internal teams (leasing development finance) to ensure cohesive project planning.
Develop detailed budgets schedules and feasibility analyses.
Construction Oversight
Oversee internal teams and/or subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor schedule budget and quality performance resolving issues proactively.
Ensure compliance with local codes safety regulations and design intent.
Manage project closeout and transition to occupancy.
Team & Leadership Development
Build and mentor a high-performing internal project management team.
Promote collaboration and clear communication across all disciplines.
Provide guidance training and professional development for junior staff.
Qualifications
Progressive experience in real estate development and large-scale construction project management.
Proven ability to manage projects from entitlement through closeout.
Experience in team building and leadership.
Deep understanding of construction processes contracts and regulations.
Strong communication negotiation and organizational skills.
