Job Summary

Are you a visionary engineering talent who wants to actively shape the future of automotive interior sensing With us you will take on a key role in the development of our next generation of Perfectly Keyless (PK). Here you will not only define the technological horizon but also significantly shape the safety and comfort of future vehicles.

In PK product area you will be responsible for the antenna design of multi radio sensors in sub 10 GHz frequency range:

Antenna design based on 3D EM simulations
Selection and testing of RF components (antenna filter switch etc.)
RF design verification measurements: scattering parameters radiation pattern radiated power pulse shape
- Analyzing and creating requirement specifications for the silicon and the antenna design
- Creating requirements and guidelines for sensor integration on the vehicle.
- 3D EM performance simulations for sensors mounted on the vehicle
- Continuous alignment with HW layout team on PCB optimization
- Running PCB feasibility/placement studies for new sensor generation
- Qualification of components from 2nd supplier
- Characterization of RF material parameters (permittivity loss tangent)
- Tracking and analyzing relevant RF standards specifications protocols and regulations

Qualifications :

Successfully completed a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Radio Frequency Engineering or a comparable field of study.
Experience in the development of RF circuits especially antennas.
Relevant knowledge of the design process for printed RF circuits for automotive applications
Know-how and practical experience in high-frequency metrology
Experienced in 3D EM simulations with either CST Microwave Studio or Ansys HFSS.
Initial knowledge of methods and tools in scripting automation and data analysis with Python or MATLAB.
Optionally experience with short-range device applications for communication and radar e.g. BLE and UWB.
An independent structured and goal-oriented working style.
Strong teamwork skills in an international team as well as high commitment and creativity.
Very good written and spoken English skills.
