Caterpillar Hungary is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive assembly painting and packaging excellence support production on the shop floor and lead improvement projects that increase capacity efficiency and automation.

Your job duties may include...

• Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering heavy industry production support of the Finish line (Assembly Painting Packaging). Working with production quality supply chain and maintenance departments.
• Lead and/or being involved: projects to develop assembly painting product movement processes at the facility (Capacity increase Automation Robotisation - LEAN)
• Process development and mantain creation of new work instructions ensuring process descriptions are available and up to date.
• Taking part in New Product Introduction as an Engineering Team member and handling new Finish line related product data in the ERP system

You will have...

• BSc or MSc degree related to Manufacturing Engineering (Mechanical Engineer Chemical Engineer or similar). Good command of English language (written and verbal) daily
• Production manufacturing-related experience (good to have: painting assembly process experience). Experience in production support and cooperation with other departments. Ability to execute plan manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
• Project leading project participation experience (manufacturing environment)
• Ownership attitude Decision Making and Critical Thinking skills: Participates in documenting data ideas players stakeholders processes and recognizes clarifies and prioritizes concerns. Seeks help to confirm or support difficult decisions.
• Agile person with curiosity and collaborative spirit
• Good to have: Basic/User-level understanding of 3D design software skill

Top candidates will also have:

• Experience in a manufacturing company
• Team player solution-oriented personality
• Project execution experience small mid projects are welcome.
• Interest in IT and digitalization is a plus (Excel Power BI)
