- Participates and supports the analysis of tender specifications drawings and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
- Prepares the Bills of Quantities and other quantitative reports as required. Identifies potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates
- Assists in the preparation of material and subcontract enquiries and the evaluation of quotations
- Develop detailed direct cost estimates for specific parts of the scope
- Assists in the compilation of the technical submittals
- Maintains comprehensive records of cost estimation data ensuring data integrity and accessibility for future reference.
- Prepares presentations for internal (within company) and external (partners /clients) purposes
- Assists in preparation of interfacing plans DORs BOQ splits and other documents related to JVs and Consortia
Qualifications :
- BSc / MSc in Civil Engineering
- One (1) to three (3) years of work experience within a construction contractor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Commercial / business thinking
- Excellent English command (written and oral) of the English language
- Knowledge of any project management tool is desirable.
- Computer literacy including use of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access)
