The Opportunity

We are seeking a Junior Dispute & Chargeback Officer to join our Risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing dispute and chargeback processes end-to-end ensuring compliance with card scheme rules minimizing financial losses and enhancing operational efficiency and controls.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Handle and manage card disputes (Visa & Mastercard) end-to-end
  • Collect review and assess supporting documentation
  • Ensure timely processing of disputes in accordance with card scheme rules
  • Liaise with internal teams merchants and external partners
  • Monitor dispute cases and follow up to resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting

Who Are We Looking For

  • Experience in dispute handling within banking or payments
  • Knowledge of Visa Mastercard Amex chargeback rules and processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes and meet strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to assess documentation critically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech PSP or banking environment.
  • Familiarity with dispute management systems/tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks is considered an advantage.
